March 26 (no time needed or place needed as its just food/cash donations needed) 

Every other month volunteers from FMCSB are committed to serving dinner and sack lunches at Transition House. Transition House supports homeless families with children. While families are in residence at the shelter they receive meals every day. Our church sponsors and prepares a dinner for its 50-70 residents (many of whom are children) once every two months: the fourth Tuesday of odd months.

Sign up to provide an item at Connection Central or contact Kelsey Lahr at kelseyelahr@gmail.com to find out what food items are needed for donation. You can also make a cash donation designated to "Transition House."

New Coordinator Needed

We are looking for a new Coordinator for our dinners at Transition House beginning with the May dinner (and hoping that the new coordinator can shadow our current coordinator at the dinner on March 26).

The coordinator's job is to plan the menu, shop (all expenses reimbursed by the church), cooks the main dishes, and organizes volunteers for preparations and serving the dinner at the shelter. A sufficient group of volunteers is already in place, and enthusiastic about serving in this ministry - they just need a shepherd!
