Fall 2026 Encounter

This Fall, we’ll be exploring discipleship. What is it? How do we become disciples of Jesus? And what does discipleship look like for people of different ages, stages, and contexts?

In Matthew 28:19, Jesus commissions his followers to “go and make disciples.” Discipleship isn’t simply something we learn about—it’s a way of life. We become disciples as we follow Jesus, learn from others, and help others grow in faith.

Throughout this Encounter series, we’ll be asking two important questions: Who is discipling you, and who are you discipling?

Sometimes discipleship happens through formal teaching, study, and intentional relationships. Other times, it is simply caught rather than taught—through watching someone live out their faith, asking questions, sharing life, and walking alongside one another.

Both are important. Together, we’ll explore what discipleship can look like in the everyday life of a follower of Christ—and how each of us is invited to both be discipled and make disciples.
