Common Ground

The Common Ground group at FMCSB has been meeting for a couple of years, and our vision is to help first each other, and then the world outside the church, recognise our profound connection to creation and the non-human creation in particular. The name of our group originates in our recognition that as humans we share with the non human creation in reflecting the glory of God, and we cannot live sustainably in ignorance of that commonality. Feel free to contact Jim Wright (jwright@westmont.edu) or Sarah Kass (sarskass@gmail.com) for more information.

"Common Ground will hear from Naomi Tripp who works for Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network and will be giving a presentation on local wildlife. We will hear about the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of wild animals in our area. Naomi specializes in working with birds and small mammals, so bring all your questions. If you have any interest in animals, please join us for this fun and educational event!"
