For 6th grade, Jr. High and High School youth
Living for Christ in our world is challenging. We do not have the luxury of hiding in a fortress. Moment by moment, we must face the reality of living in an imperfect world. God is with us wherever we go.
FM Youth exists to offer students a safe place where they can learn how to live for God, wherever they are, through studying the Bible, talking and listening to Him through prayer, encouraging one another through growing relationships, providing accountability through sharing life experiences and put Christ at the center through worship. Out of this community with God and others, it is our desire that youth will want to invite others through their own relationships and leadership.
“PAUSE” on WEDNESDAYS—Pause: A temporary stop in action. Monday through Friday, we are on “play.” Wednesday night, we “pause” to meet and remember our life is bigger than all our activities. God is God; when we spend time with him, we will grow in our faith. Youth Room, 6th gr./Jr. High/High School. Start in the youth room and then divide by age level. 6:45 -7:45 pm.
Wednesday G3: Invite your friends for games on the first Wednesday night of every month. Meets at our normal time: 6:45 - 7:45 pm
SUNDAYS w FM YOUTH - God made the Sabbath for rest and worship. Do both with us. We’ll come together to sing, pray, and let God’s Word speak to us. It’s a great way to start your week. Meet in the sanctuary first and stay through opening songs, announcements, offering, prayer requests, and prayer, then into the Youth Room, during the 10:15 am service.
HIGH SCHOOL LIFE GROUPS - We were not created to live for Christ on our own. God created people to walk with us. LIFE GROUPS are designed for you to “do life” with 2-4 others who will be there to encourage and challenge you in your faith. Create a group or sign up for a group and talk to Doug. Get info (pdf).
FM YOUTH SERVICE - Living the Christian life in our world is not all about receiving, it also includes giving: serving your community, church, and world. Opportunities include events like serving our friends without homes and our bi-annual outreach trip, Team Costa Rica. Check out ways you can serve in our ministry here (pdf).
EVENTS - We like to have fun, and during the school year, we will plan special times: some big, some little. Stay tuned! Release form for any youth ministry event (pdf).
