Christina Davis

Ministry and service have been the context in which Tina Davis has lived most of her life.  Born to missionary parents in Caracas, Venezuela, she was part of cross-cultural ministry to reach the lost for Jesus, watching her parents in action, declaring at the age of 3 that she would one day preach like her dad.  The calling to ministry came young, and shows itself in her passion for International missions, worship and developing leaders.  Upon entering college, Tina pursued a degree in Psychology, followed by a Masters in Community counseling and a Masters in Practical Theology from Regent University, as she continued to minister at New Life church as a youth and worship director.   She served bi-vocationally as an in-home counselor and substance abuse specialist with at risk teens and their families until 2008.  She then became ordained as a pastor at New Life, launching their first video campus and subsequently becoming New Life’s first campus pastor for their multi-site vision.  She has served in various roles at New Life to include women’s pastor, online-campus pastor and most recently, executive pastor.  She is currently serving as the Worship pastor, on the teaching team as well as on the executive leadership team.  During her time as women’s pastor, she founded and launched a ministry for young women called “DNA”- focusing on developing christ-centered identity formation in those who participate.  She is currently pursing her Doctorate of Ministry in Leadership and Spiritual Formation at George Fox University.  She travels nationally and internationally speaking at conferences, retreats and ministry events, all to call the church into the fullness of her identity and destiny as the bride of Christ.

She is married to her sweetheart, Chris Davis, founding parter at Davis Law, PLC, and they reside in Chesapeake, VA with their two adorable cats, Quintessa and Pippin.
