Dr. Caryn Reeder, a New Testament professor at Westmont College, is teaching Encounter on October 20th. She will help us better understand the New Testament world by walking us through a study of a "slavery text."

She will offer resources to help us find out more about slavery in the New Testament world, thereby increasing our understanding of the New Testament's historical context.
