ENCOUNTER: The Impact of Creation Care on Humankind

Caring for creation is one of the first things that God asked Adam and Eve to do in the garden of Eden and remains an act of worship in our modern world.

Come explore how when humankind’s relationship with nature is broken, it leads to a deep level of poverty in the form of loss of natural resources, indentured servanthood, human trafficking, and hopelessness. How does this impact our world personally, locally and globally?

Jamie Shattenberg was born and raised in Madagascar, has his Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary and is the International Director for Eden Reforestation Projects in Madagascar. The Shattenberg family have been serving full-time in Madagascar since 2011.
