Advent Devotionals

Dear FMCSB,

As Advent approaches let us consider the living hope we have in Jesus Christ. Jay Y. Kim writes in Hope Is an Expectant Leap: "This is what Christian hope looks like. It doesn’t ignore fear, anxiety, and doubt; it confronts them. It holds steady, clinging to peace in the midst of chaos. Through life’s many treacherous storms . . . Christian hope is buoyed by something greater that has happened and something greater that is going to happen again."

This Advent season we want to be encouraged by our hope that Christ's coming has happened and Christ's coming is going to happen again. CT's Advent devotional will explore this living hope we have in Christ and we encourage you to use this resource during this season to help prepare your heart and mind for Christ's coming. Clicking on the link below will allow you to download a digital bundle which includes a bible reading guide, list of family activities, and a daily Advent devotional. Contact Pastor Nikki (nikki@fmcsb.org) with any questions you might have or if you need a paper copy printed.

Our prayer is that God would meet you powerfully during this season and that your hope in Him would give you life!
