19 Seats to Anywhere

In spring 2020, Jim Wright and Dr. Heather Keaney took 16 Westmont College students and two Assistant Directors to the Middle East for a semester study program. The pandemic was initially a faint rumbling on the Eastern horizon, then a growing storm and eventually a hurricane that forced the rapid evacuation of the group. In Part 1 Jim and Heather will look at some of the salient lessons that they believe the students learned from the semester and its spectacular conclusion, and in Part 2, they will look at some the salient lessons that they themselves learned.

The sessions will be interactive, and Jim and Heather have some nice anecdotes, some of which are even true, so do come along and share the fun.
