For our Giving Tree this year we have the opportunity to give to the Unity Shoppe, an  organization in town which helps folks in our community who lack important resources, like food, school supplies, or clothing.  Unity Shoppe stands in the gap to help provide these essential resources for those who most need them. And during the Christmas season thousands of Santa Barbara County children, along with their families, are given the opportunity to select their favorite toys and gifts (new and handmade).  

One way that you can give during this Advent season is to take an ornament from the tree in the sanctuary (or choose one from the electronic tree), and donate either funds or an item for those who need a touch of help and a touch of God’s grace for their family this Christmas.  You can pray over that ornament and the families who will benefit.  May they and you be blessed with the presence of God who comes and dwells among us this season.
