On May 2nd, we are having a great morning to raise funds for Cliff Drive Care Center by having a move-a-thon for our kids in the church parking lot. Starting at 9:00am, we will have coffee and treats. We have a silent auction with amazing donations from around the community. Cliff Drive children will be participating in fun movement activities! Please come and cheer on the little kids, spend a few dollars in treats, bid on auction items and “opportunity drawing” tickets. If you can’t make it in person, but you would like to give to Cliff Drive, feel free to give online or drop a check in the offering plate! We will also have the opportunity to sponsor a child who will be participating in the move-a-thon.

Some of the children’s move-a-thon activities include:

1 year olds-2 year olds: Tricycles or Obstacle course
2 year olds- kindergardeners: Tricycles or bicycle (feel free to bring your own)
1st- 6th Grade: Pick 2 (basketball hoops, throwing, soccer, jumprope)

At this event we will also be dedicating a rose garden to former CDCC Director and church member, Sharon Rhodes.

We still need donations for our silent auction and our modified raffle. Do you or a friend/family member own a business that could provide an item, a gift basket, or a gift certificate that could be contributed to our fundraiser? Do you work for a company that might be able to provide either to support CDCC? We have had things as small as $15 gift cards, so the requirement would not necessarily need to be a large donation. Even a small donation would help us as we raise $25,000 to support Cliff Drive Care Center children and senior programs. The attached letter explains to business owners who CDCC is, what our fundraiser is, and how they can help by donating. Feel free to provide it to whomever would want to see it. If you or your employer are able to make a donation (or if you spoke to them and they are not able to make a donation), can you please let us know as soon as you can what the company is, so we don't duplicate requests? We would need to know what the donation will be by Monday, April 27, and we would need to receive the donation item by April 29.
