A New Library
When we remodeled the church campus in 2000, we put in a lovely new nursery upstairs in the new wing. It had two rooms adjacent to the women's bathroom and was fully furnished for our smallest members. For 22 years, it served us well as a place for parents to drop off their babies, for moms to nurse, and for toddlers to play. When we remodeled Millie's House for the Infant Center, which was formerly the Counseling Center, we gained a beautiful space for babies, but we lost a bigger room where people could gather. So, we decided to transform the upstairs nursery into a Library. This is now ready for small groups, meetings, or for people who want to sit in a cozy chair and read. We hope all of you enjoy this new space.
Nursery is now available downstairs below the sanctuary during the 9 am service. In 2023, with many babies on the way, we hope to move to Millie’s Infant Center on Sunday mornings. Pastor Colleen’s office, equipped with audio of the service, is available for parents who need to be with their baby during the service. You, of course, are also still welcome to use the library as a place to be with your baby during the service if you would like. Your babies are welcome in the service too! This church loves kids!
