Spring 2023 Encounter

Spring Encounter
10:30-11:30am | Upper Room

April 2nd | Pilgrimage (Camino de Santiago)
With Mike Maybell

For the last 1200 years the Camino de Santiago (Way of St. James) has been an official pilgrimage designated by the Catholic church. This 48-day hike that I completed provided extreme beauty of the Spanish North Coast, terrific beach cities, fantastic food, polite helpful pilgrims and citizens, healthy daily exercise, opportunity for prayer and reflection and seeking God’s will. Completing this pilgrimage was one of the most inspiring, enjoyable experiences of my life.

The Encounter presentation will give brief background and history of the Camino de Santiago and then a large number of photos that are ordered in the sequence of our walk. I believe God taught me a great deal on this pilgrimage and I will share that as well.
