Dinners for Eight is being reinvented for the summer as "Picnics for Eight"- an opportunity for you to gather together with 7-10 other congregants for a summer picnic!   This is an event to help you fellowship with others around some delicious food and in some beautiful places in Santa Barbara. 

Who: You and (about) 7 other church goers will be placed into a group.

When: Picnics will be held on the evening of July 15th or July 16th. The exact time will be set by the host. Start time will be between 5:30pm and 6:30pm.

Where: The week of the dinner, you will be contacted by your host letting you know which picnic site to meet at (think Shoreline Park, Mission Lawn, Hendry’s beach, etc.) and what picnic food might be fun to bring.

What (to bring): The host will let you know but don't worry, no one person will be responsible for everything. And if you have an outdoor game feel free to bring that too (i.e. spikeball, bocce ball, frisbee, etc.)

Why: Life is so much better with food, friends, and fellowship! What a great opportunity to get to know folks at the church more. It's also fun to think that Jesus had some pretty memorable “picnics” with his disciples! ;)
