Often we think of DOUBT as an indication of the lack of faith.  This is due in part to the statements like James 1:6 in the Bible where we read:  "But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind."  But this use of doubt when we ask in prayer is different from the use of the word when we explore questions of trust in God and the understanding of his theology and inspired Word.  Join us as we talk about DOUBT  and how we use doubt to bring about both faith and trust in God.

Encounter is our free Adult Christian Education, offered after the morning worship services each Sunday during the fall and spring. Lunch is served at 12:15pm, class begins at 12:30pm. Anyone is welcome to attend, there is no registration. Classes take place in our Upper Fellowship Room, and are also recorded and posted on our website.
