Fall Family Festival

We’re having a free Halloween party with games, crafts, face-paint, popcorn and snow cones! Our “trunk or treat” candy stations will be out from 12:00-1:30, with lunch available for purchase all afternoon (or until it’s all bought out).

Bring your family and friends and dress up in something fun! No scary or violent costumes, please. We’ll meet you in the parking lot of the Free Methodist Church. With balloons, a bounce house, and the smell of our BBQ lunch, we think you’ll recognize the party.

Invite your friends and let them know about it on Facebook.

This topic is the most requested one for parents and teachers alike. We will discuss how to custom-design our approach to different ages and stages of our child’s development and each one’s unique personality and needs.

Cheryl is a licensed marriage and family therapist and directed Cliff Drive Christian Counseling Center for 22 years. Her book “Cultivating Healthy Relationships” was published in 2016 and is designed for class and small group study with discussion and application questions at the end of each chapter. Her husband Denny (who pastored FMCSB for 40 years) is a pastoral counselor and they continue to teach on healthy family and church relationships nationally.

The fundraiser supports their long-standing programs: Early Childhood Education, Senior Lunch Fellowship, and Counseling Referral Network, all of which seek to provide loving, healthy community and places of healing in the midst of a world which is often filled with violence and the inability to respond well to difficult situations.

All are invited to join us in the parking lot of the Free Methodist Church of Santa Barbara, 1435 Cliff Drive, from 1:00-3:00pm in support of these long-standing community programs. Come as you are able and leave when you need.
